Important Notes Regarding the Video Filming of Weddings
If you are marrying in church you should:
Check with
the church if video cameras are allowed to be used inside during
the ceremony, and whether fees will be involved for the use of
videos inside the church. Most churches will charge for this to
cover the organist and choir under the "performers Protection
Act 1958 & 1972".
Video
recording of church services will be covered by a CCL Licence
held by the church. Whilst some churches hold this licence, it
will be necessary for you to check with the vicar or minister.
Any
additional charges made by the Church is payable by yourselves
and is not included in our Wedding Package Price.
Some Churches don't allow a
video at all. If permission has been given, we film the whole of the Ceremony, hopefully from the
front and on the right of the Altar, as this gives the best view of the
Bride during the Ceremony.
Most
times we film the congregation as the couple are signing the registry,
so that they can see everyone who attended their wedding, as most people
will tell you that the day goes by in such a blur that they can remember
very little, which is why the video is so important.
Outside,
we film everyone singly, or in small groups so that we have plenty of
pictures to take from the video for the Video Album.
Typically there
will be around 150 pictures in still frame and slow motion clips in the
Video Album, and it is the main reason why so many people book us, as it
means that as well as a video, they have an alternative set of photos,
and with modern technology, we now turn those pictures into a CD-ROM for
couples to send their images around the globe via the internet.
On
to the Reception and we are there to cover the speeches and
the ceremonial
cake
cutting. Sometimes the wedding for whatever reason will overrun past the
4 hours we have allowed for filming. If it does then we stay until the
end of the speeches and add the cost of the extra time to the cost of the
Wedding.
And
that's it. The perfect day captured for you to re-live over and over!
