Why
have a video of your wedding?
Or, if you want one, why hire a professional?
Many times, as I attend Wedding Fayres in my capacity as a
Wedding video company, I hear people as they walk by my stand
saying" we don't need a video, or we have someone who can film
it for free, or as a wedding gift.
The average cost of a wedding these days seems to be around 7-10
thousand pounds, but the next morning when the couple wake up,
what do they have for their money?
The dress, cars, reception are all gone, expensive fleeting
moments that cannot be recaptured no matter how good ones memory
is.
So there are
the photographs. Maybe 50 -
100 from the photographer, and some from the guests, but what
does that tell you of the day? Mute witness that can bring
nothing of the actual day, just isolated pockets of the event.
Video, however, brings the day not just to the Bride and Groom
and their families, but to many who could not actually attend
the day itself, who can re-live time and time again the whole
event.
I used to look at a Wedding video as an entity in itself, but
over 25 years of film-making has taught me that what I am recording is a slice
in the life of a collection of people who will never get together in the same
way again.
Only after a good few years of filming have I realised just what
an important thing the video has become to so many people. For
the first time, our generation will be able to identify with
past members of our families long after they are gone, not just
as a picture in a frame.
Many letters and telephone conversations of Brides filmed
decades ago thanking me for the Wedding video that after a time
like the photos, was consigned to the drawer, only to re-surface
when life had taken a way a loved family member or friend.
Many Brides have used us for their second weddings, and last
year we had our first Bride who used us for a third time! While
not advocating that this is the norm, it does show that out of
all the things they did not want to remind them of the first
time, we were often the only thing that the Bride insisted on
having the same as before.
So why choose
a VideoServe Wedding Video DVD?
More than 25 years spent recording family history, and over
2,000 Brides, our highlights have been many, including the
rehearsals for the wedding of the Duchess of York, filming
Prince Charles and Princess Diana as well as many of the Royal
Family have given us the ability to film just about anybody,
anywhere.
My son Chris and I have travelled the world making travel films
for major travel companies.
Most local photographers only recommend us and you can be
assures of a professional service.
Starting with the Bridal preparations at home, then on to the
Ceremony venue, and we are with you until the cake cutting and the speeches,
giving you over 5 hours of attendance.
You receive an edited DVD about 90 minutes long,
edited with titles and music.
We than extract the best 100 or so pictures from the video in
still frame and slow-motion, set to music at the end of the
video as a look-back over the day.
ALL
THIS FOR £650!!
Compare it to the cost of your photographer with no sound and no motion.
So don't throw away the chance of a great video record of your
